Abstract

A new approach to the description of the correlated emission laser gyroscope (holographic laser) is presented which is based on transformation between different representations of the light field inside the cavity. A formalism is described which allows the derivation of the main characteristics of the holographic laser. With small adaptations, the formalism can be used also for other types of correlated emission lasers.
