Measurement of the azimuthal distribution of molecular orbital K X-rays emitted in 90 MeV Ni + Ni collisions

Abstract

The azimuthal distribution of molecular orbital K X-rays emitted in 90 MeV Ni + Ni collisions has been measured as a function of impact parameter using the particle—X-ray coincidence technique. A weak azimuthal anisotropy of less than 20% has been observed.
