Abstract

Ion-exchange membranes prepared by soaking into convenient solutions of salts in benzene, act afterwards as strong ion injectors in the pure liquid. Unipolar injection is used to measure, with precision, mobilities of known ions and to study electrohydrodynamic phenomena.
