Abstract

A method for the preparation of germanium diselenide crystals by Czochralski pulling under liquid encapsulation has been performed, for the first time. The size of the crystals is one order of magnitude larger than that previously obtained by other authors, either by Bridgman or by vapour-phase transport methods.
