Abstract

Hall constant measurements were used to study the kinetics of the establishment of order and domain growth processes in the Cu3Au alloy. Equilibrium values of the Hall constant were determined in dependence on temperature. The Hall constant depends on the order parameter and the domain size as well, the free-electron like Hall constant in the disordered state becomes less negative and even positive for well ordered samples with great domain sizes. The change of the long range order parameter and the increase of the domain size can be investigated by Hall constant measurements during the annneal. The results of this kinetical study are almost exactly the same, as of the resistometrical studies.
