Abstract

Cross-sections were measured for the natTi(n, x)46,47,48Sc processes over the neutron energy range of 12.5–19.6 MeV. Use was made of the activation technique in combination with high resolution γ-ray spectroscopy. The neutron fluence rates were determined using two independent methods, viz. proton recoil telescope and 27Al(n, α)24Na monitor reaction. The present results strengthen the data base above 15 MeV, especially for the formation of 47Sc.
