Abstract

We have measured the deflection of electrons drifting through transverse magnetic fields of up to 105 kG provided by the M.I.T. Frances Bitter National Magnet Laboratory. The measurements were carried out in 1 atm argon-isobutane gas with drift fields of 0.5–10.0 kV/cm.
