Abstract

To optimize the electron-beam energy extraction, high-quality wigglers are required with strong magnetic fields and a flexible tuning of the tapering. For that purpose, we have designed a hybrid wiggler with several permanent magnets per pole. Off-line and on-line magnetic field measurements, which are essential to characterize the wiggler, are presented.
