The fission barriers in Actinides and superheavy nuclei in covariant density functional theory
2010, Physics Letters, Section B: Nuclear, Elementary Particle and High-Energy PhysicsCitation Excerpt :These calculations are based on modern energy density functionals. After semiclassical investigations [17] there are now fully quantum mechanical calculations available based on Skyrme [6,18–30], Gogny [31–34] or RMF [4,20,35–39] functionals. The majority of these calculations are restricted to axially symmetric shapes.
