Abstract

The (3He, p) reaction has been studied on 60Ni using a beam of 33 MeV 3He particles. Angular distributions of outgoing protons have been measured for twelve levels including the ground-state analogue of 62Ni covering an excitation energy of 4.55 MeV over range θlab = 12.5°–115° (maximum). A microscopic DWBA analysis has been carried out using the spectroscopic amplitudes derived from the two-body matrix elements given by Koops and Glaudemans based on the modified surface delta interactions.
