Abstract

Proton hole states in the 1f72 nuclei 46Ti, 54Fe, 56Fe, 58Ni and 60Ni have been studied using the (p, 2p) reaction with 46 MeV protons. The measured binding energies and angular correlations are consistent with the binding energies and orbital angular momentum assignments (1f72, 2s12and 1d32) obtained from proton pick-up reactions.
