Abstract

Angular-correlation measurements were made on thirteen direct cascades and four skip cascades in 92Sr. Levels in 92Sr were directly populated by β-decay of an isotopically pure 92Rb ion beam produced by a mass separator. Correlations were deduced from coincidences of the most intense transitions with the 815 keV, 570 keV and 1385 keV transitions in 92Sr. Definite spin assignments are made for five levels, and tentative assignments for two levels. Values are given for the angular correlation coefficients and, where applicable, the multipole mixing ratios. Level assignments in 92Sr are discussed in the light of a recent study of the level systematics of the neutron-rich even-even Sr isotopes.
