Abstract

Angular distributions of the 3He polarization analysing power of the elastic scattering of 3He by 3H have been measured at 33.3, 29.9, 27.7, 25.3,23.5 and 19.9 MeV. Differential cross section angular distributions were also measured at 33.3, 29.9, 25.3 and 23.5 MeV, as well as excitation functions of both cross section and 3He polarization over the energy range from 20 to 33 MeV. The data have been analysed in terms of phase shifts. The presence of broad P- and F-levels in 6Li with (3He + 3H) structure predicted by the resonating group theory has been confirmed.
