Abstract

The photoneutron cross section for 30Si has been measured over the energy range 10 to 28 MeV using the bremsstrahlung-yield-curve technique. The cross section is observed to be highly fragmented, consistent with systematic trends observed in other light nuclei consisting of two neutrons outside a self-conjugate core.
