Abstract

Excitation functions have been measured for 13C(3He, p)15N for the ground, 5.27 + 5.30 MeV (unresolved), and 6.32 MeV states of 15N over the angular range 10°–165° (1ab) and the 3He energy range 3.6–6.6 MeV. A resonance at E3He = 4.6 ± 0.1 MeV, Ex = 26.5 ± 0.1 MeV, previously found in proton and 3He capture reactions, was observed. The partial widths for proton, 3He and gamma emission are derived from the present results together with data from capture reactions.
