Abstract

Gamma-gamma directional correlations have been measured in the decay of 206Bi. Using a multichannel goniometer with 2 Ge and 6 NaI detectors the directional correlations have been measured for 17 cascades in 206Pb. From the results, electromagnetic multipole mixing ratios are deduced and limits to transition strengths are estimated.
