Abstract

A radioactive target 210Pb was used to study excited states in 212Po. The reaction used was 210Pb(α, 2n)212Po at 30 MeV. The level scheme of 212Po was extended to the 2884 keV state. Spin-parity assignments of the yrast states up to the 6+ state were confirmed by γ-ray anisotropy measurements. Six new levels were identified. A possible 10+ state with ν(g92i112) configuration was found.
