A new 5.0 ns isomer in 144Eu

Abstract

A new 9 isomeric state having a 5.0 ns half-life has been observed in 144Eu following the 144Sm(α, p3n) reactions at 50 MeV. The new isomer most likely has a g−172vh−1112)9 configuration.
