Correct use of conserved vector current theory in first-forbidden β-decay of 170Tm

Abstract

It is shown that a correct use of the formula connecting the ∝α and ∝ir matrix elements clearly indicates that Woods-Saxon wave functions are most suitable to describe the β-decay of the 170Tm nucleus.
