Abstract

Using a gas target with differential pumping, absolute differential cross sections for 14 proton groups from the 20Ne(d, p)21Ne reaction have been measured at 2, 3 and 3.2 MeV. A DWBA analysis of the transitions proceeding by a stripping mechanism allows the determination of orbital angular momenta and spectroscopic factors. The results are discussed in terms of the Nilsson model.
