Level structure of 107Pd studied by the 104Ru(α, n)107Pd reaction

Abstract

The level structure of 107Pd was studied by means of the 104Ru(α, n)107Pd reaction. Excitation functions, γ-γ coincidences and γ-ray angular distributions were measured. Two ΔI = 2 cascades proceeding to a 72+ and a 112 state were observed. The level structure is discussed within the framework of the Nilsson model with Coriolis coupling in which the recoil effect has been properly introduced.
