Abstract

The beta and gamma activity of 93Kr and daughter, 93Rb, produced in the fission of 235U, have been studied by using the ARIEL on-line isotope separator. The values have been measured to be 7300 ± 200 keV for the decay of 93Kr and 5750 ± 100 keV for 93Rb. The ground-state β-feeding in the first case is 5% and in the second case 42%. By using γ-γ coincidences, we were able to place nearly 90% of the total γ-activity in both cases. Seventeen levels were determined in 9337Rb56 and 25 in 9338Sr55. Spin assignments are proposed for the ground states and for some specific levels.
