Abstract

We investigate a SO(4) model with two one-dimensional collective pairs. We demonstrate how the whole model Hilbert space, including collective and noncollective states, can be mapped exactly on a space of bosons and fermions. We find a conservation law for the total number of bosons plus fermions that strongly resembles supersymmetry schemes as they are presently discussed in the framework of the interacting boson fermion model.
