β-delayed α-emission from neutron-rich nuclei: The case of 30Na

Abstract

30Na, produced by on-line isotope separation, is studied as a possible emitter of β-delayed α-particles. This decay mode is identified with a probability of Iα = (5.5 ± 2) × 10−7.
