Abstract

Using results derived earlier, we investigate the influence of isospin mixing in the compound nucleus upon the autocorrelation functions for isospin-allowed and isospin-forbidden reactions. We exhibit how these functions depend on the degree of isospin mixing, and that they need not have the simple lorentzian form commonly considered. The available experimental data relating to the compound nucleus 30P are examined in the light of these results.
