In-beam gamma ray study of neutron deficient nuclei with A~90

Abstract

Some results are reported from an ongoing study of nuclear structure in the mass ~90 region using the 40Ca + 58Ni reaction at E(40Ca) = 187 MeV and the NORDBALL multidetector system including a Si-ball and a neutron wall. The experimental yrast level structure of 91Tc and 92Ru are compared with shell model calculations using both 88Sr and 100Sn as inert cores. High spin states beyond those of the f52pg92 configuration space as well as energy level correlations are discussed.
