Abstract

We have observed production of ∅ and ω mesons in K+p interactions at 6.8 GeV/c in the final states K+∅p, K+ωp, KOπ+∅p, and KOπ+ωp. The first two final states show low-mass enhancements K∅, Kω, and ωp combinations. The third evidences strong Δ++ production. The fourth is produced through a combination of mechanisms, but shows some evidence for K (1660) production, with decay to KOω.
