Abstract

The production of neutral, non-strange mesons has been measured in the reaction p + d3He + missing mass at an incident momentum of 5.0 GeV/c. The mass range of 500 to 870 MeV/c2 was covered. The production cross sections for η, ϱ0 and ω production are 24.0 ± 2.8, 52.5 ± 10.0 and 11.6 ± 2.2 pb/sr respectively, in the c.m. frame, at a four-momentum transfer of approximately 2 (GeV/c)2.
