Abstract

The energy dependence of the invariant cross section in pp inclusive reactions has been studied for several fixed values of (pt, x) and of (pt, ylab), where pt,x, and ylab are the transverse momentum, the Feynman variable, and the rapidity variable, respectively. The average transverse momentum and the multiplicities of each produced particle have been computed as a function of energy. The results are compared with the predictions of some phenomenological models.
