Validation of elastic cross section models for space radiation applications
2017, Nuclear Instruments and Methods in Physics Research, Section B: Beam Interactions with Materials and AtomsCitation Excerpt :There is an abundance of elastic [56–70], reaction [56,71–129], and total cross section [56,58,69,70,130–146] data; therefore, these data have been used for validation of the model. An accurate representation of the available elastic differential cross section data [142,147–283] is also presented; however, there is a paucity of nucleus-nucleus differential cross section data for energies greater than a few hundred MeV/n. This manuscript proceeds as follows.
