Abstract

At the Electron Stretcher Accelerator ELSA of Bonn University the left-right asymmetry AΦ of the reaction d(e, é p)n has been measured in quasi-free kinematics (Ee = 1.6 GeV, θe = 14°). The scattered electrons were detected with a magnetic spectrometer. Due to the high duty cycle of ELSA non-magnetic proton detectors could be used. The experimental data are in good agreement with theoretical calculations, if relativistic corrections are taken into account.
