Graphene paste electrode for detection of chlorpromazine
2011, Electrochemistry CommunicationsCitation Excerpt :The CPZ is a phenothiazine drug with an aliphatic side chain, used in the management of psychotic conditions [24]. Many methods have been reported for the quantitative determination of CPZ, including those involving voltammetric methods [25–27], HPLC [28–30] and gas chromatography [31,32]. However, most of these methods require several time consuming manipulation steps, sophisticated instruments and special training.
Determination of selected phenothiazines in human plasma by solid-phase extraction and liquid chromatography with coulometric detection
2008, Analytica Chimica ActaCitation Excerpt :The selectivity and sensitivity of the analytical method are of paramount importance for the reliable TDM of patients due to the very low therapeutic plasma levels of some drugs (i.e. fluphenazine depot). Several papers can be found in the literature regarding the determination of some phenothiazines as a single analyte or together with other drugs in biological fluids or tissues [9–25]. Usually, the drugs are analysed by means of high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) coupled with UV detection [9,11,24,25], fluorescence detection [13], mass spectrometry [13] or electrochemical (both amperometric and coulometric) detection [18–23].
