Infrared and Raman spectra, DFT-calculations and spectral assignments of 1,1,3,3,5,5-hexafluoro-1,3,5-trisilacyclohexane
2015, Journal of Molecular StructureCitation Excerpt :Disilacyclohexane with two silicons in the 1,3, 1,4 and 1,2-positions [5], were studied by IR spectroscopy and gaseous electron diffraction, respectively. Cyclohexasilane (Si6H12) was investigated [6] by various methods including vibrational [7], photoelectron [8] and 29Si-NMR [9] spectroscopy. In the perhalogenated cyclohexasilanes Si6Cl12 and Si6Br12 X-ray studies revealed that the six silicon atoms adopt a chair conformation [10].
