Abstract
IN recent years borate buffer for the electrophoretic separation of neutral polysaccharides has been used in a Tiselius apparatus1 and for the qualitative and quantitative separations obtained by zone electrophoresis using strip supports of filter paper, silk and glass fibre paper2,3. The method described here extends this work to a quantitative preparative method in an electrophoretic column of the type described by Porath4
