Abstract
THE purpose of this communication is to report several electron magnetic resonance observations in human teeth in vitro. The sample was a small section of the upper left incisor tooth of a 7-year-old female child. The sample volume was 1–2 mm3. Electron magnetic resonance spectra were obtained at the K-band (24 Kmc) with a high sensitivity electron magnetic resonance spectrometer using 100-kc/s field modulation and a cylindrical cavity operating in the TE011 mode. The sensitivity of this spectrometer is approximately 1012 (δH)2 spins, where δH is the resonance line-width in gauss.
