Die rosa sogenannten Manganosulfide, wie sie durch Fällung bei Zimmertemperatur aus einem wäßrigen Reaktionsgemisch mit 0,1 n. Mangankonzentration bei Vewendung von MnSO4 oder MnC12, NH3SH und (NH4)2S, ohne und mit NH3-Zusatz erhalten werden, verhielten sich beim Verweilen unter ihrer Mutterlauge bei Zimmertemperatur und in zerstreutem Tageslicht folgendermaßen:1Sämtliche rosa Niederschläge, erhalten mit NH3-freier NH4SH-Lösung, wobei im Mittel 4,5 Molekeln NH4SH auf 1 Atom Mn im Rgm kamen, zeigten im Mittel am 6. Tage nach ihrer Herstellung stellenweise den Beginn eines Grünüberganges; die Fortpflanzung dieses Grünüberganges erfolgte aber in der Regel mit außerordentlicher Langsamkeit.2Unabhängig vom Grünübergange, gleichzeitig und vie1 rascher als derselbe, erfolgte ein Übergang des Rosa in Orange; letzterer Übergang pflegte im Maximum in 6 Monaten vollständig zu werden, worauf die schwarzgrüne Modifikation sich auf Kosten des Orangen weiterbildete.3Ein Anwachsen der NH4SH-Mengen über die Äquivalenz mit dem Mangan im Rgm bis zu 14 Molekeln auf 1 Atom Mangan änderte die mittlere 6- tägige Beginnzeit des Grünüberganges nicht, beschleunigte aber, und zwar maximal bei rund 4 Molekeln NH4SH auf 1 Atom Mangan im Rgm, die Fortpflanzung dieses Grünüberganges und verzögerte stark den Orangeübergang des rosa Sulfides.
