X-ray Structure of cis-[ClNb(CO)2(Ph2PCH2CH2PPh2)2]The complexes XNb(CO)6-npm [n = 3: pm = 3 PMe2Ph, PhP(CH2CH2PPh2)2 (p3), MeP(CH2CH2CH2PMe2)2; n = 4: pm = 2 Ph2PCH2CH2PPh2 (dppe), 2 p3, (Ph2PCH2CH2PPhCH2)2; X = Cl, Br, I, CN] have been prepared by reaction of phosphinestabilized hydridocarbonylniobium complexes and HCl, from carbonylniobates, X2 (or ICN), and pm, or directly via NbCl4 in the presence of pm and CO under reducing conditions. δ(93Nb) values cover the range of -1250 to -1590 ppm (relative to [NbCl6]⊖); for n = 3 and pm = PMe2Ph, an inverse halogen dependence of 93Nb shielding is observed. The single-crystal X-ray structure analysis of ClNb(CO)2(dppe)2 (space group P1¯) reveals the basic structure of a trigonal prism, with Cl capping the tetragonal plane containing the four P atoms.
    Notes: Die Komplexe XNb(CO)6-npm [n = 3: pm = 3 PMe2Ph, PhP(CH2CH2PPh2)2 (p3), MeP(CH2CH2CH2PMe2)2; n = 4: pm = 2 Ph2PCH2CH2PPh2 (dppe), 2 p3, (Ph2PCH2CH2PPhCH2)2; X = Cl, Br, I, CN] wurden durch Umsetzung Phosphan-stabilisierter Hydridocarbonylniob-Komplexe mit HCl, von Carbonylniobaten mit X2 (bzw. ICN) und pm oder direkt über NbCl4 mit CO und pm unter reduzierenden Bedingungen in Ausbeuten bis zu 85% erhalten. δ(93Nb)-Werte liegen zwischen -1250 und -1590 ppm (relativ zu [NbCl6]⊖), wobei für n = 3 und pm = PMe2Ph eine inverse Halogen-Abhängigkeit der Abschirmung des Kernes 93Nb beobachtet wird. Die Einkristall-Röntgenstrukturanalyse von ClNb(CO)2(dppe)2 (Raumgruppe P1¯) ergibt als Grundgerüst ein trigonales Prisma, dessen von vier P-Atomen gebildete tetragonale Fläche durch Cl verkappt ist.
