Notes: Die Kondensation von Monoquecksilberthymin mit Di-p-toluyl-desoxy-D-ribofuranosylchlorid führt vorwiegend zum α-Thymidinderivat, wenn man sie in stark polaren Verdünnungsmitteln wie Dimethylformamid ausführt. Daß es sich nicht um eine Kondensation am N-3 des Thymins handelt, kann durch Methylierung des Produktes am N-3 gezeigt werden.
