    Notes: Erhitzen von Trisformaminomethan mit Arylacetonitrilen führt in guten Ausbeuten zu 4-Amino-5-aryl-pyrimidinen, mit p-Nitrophenylacetamid zu 5-[p-Nitro-phenyl]-pyrimidon-(4). 4-Substituierte 5-Aryl-pyrimidine erhält man aus den entsprechenden Pyrimidonen-(4) über die 4-Chlorverbindungen.
