Notes: Die Oxydation von α-Cyclogeraniolen mit Bleitetraacetat in essigsaurer Lösung führt zu 2.4.4-Trimethyl-Δ2-cyclohexenyl-acetat, diejenige in Benzol zu 3.5.5-Trimethyl-Δ2-cyclohexenyl-acetat. Für die Oxydation in saurer Lösung wird ein Mechanismus erwogen. Eine neue Methode zur Herstellung von 3.5.5-Trimethyl-Δ2-cyclohexenol (Isophorol) wird beschrieben.
