    Notes: Aus Pentaacetyl-keto-L-sorbose werden Pentaacetyl-L-sorbose-mercaptale dargestellt, die sich zu L-Sorbose-mercaptalen entacetylieren lassen. Aus letzteren erhält man durch Tritylieren 6-Trityl-L-sorbose-mercaptale, daraus durch Acetylieren 6-Trityl-tetraacetyl-L-sorbose-mercaptale. Diese ergeben bei der Abspaltung von Mercaptan 6-Trityl-tetraacetyl-keto- L-sorbose. Die Darstellung der 1-Trityl-und der 1.6-Ditrityl-L-sorbose wird beschrieben.
