3-Acyl- und 3-Äthoxycarbonyl-3.4-dihydro-cumarine und -3.4-dihydro-5.6-benzo-cumarine (1, 4) bilden nach basenkatalysierter Öffnung des δ-Lactonringes in Gegenwart von Amidinen 6-Hydroxy-5-[2-hydroxy-benzyl]- und 6-Hydroxy-5-[2-hydroxy-naphthyl-(1)-methyl]-pyrimidine (3, 5). In Phosphoroxidtrichlorid reagieren die alkyl- und phenylsubstituierten Pyrimidine unter Ringschluß zu 5H-[1]Benzopyrano- und 12H-Naphtho[1′.2′ :5.6]pyrano[2.3-d]pyrimidinen (6), deren NMR- und IR-Spektren beschrieben werden.
