Synthesis of Cyclic Esters from Terephthalic Acid and GlycolsThe syntheses of cyclo-tris(ethylene terephthalate) (6) and cyclo-tetrakis(tetramethylene terephthalate) (5) as well as the synthesis of cyclo-tetrakis(ethylene terephthalate) (7) and of the cyclic ester 8 containing 2.2′-dihydroxydiethyl ether, ethylene glycol, and two molecules of terephthalic acid are described.

Die Synthesen von cyclo-Tris-äthylenterephthalat (6) sowie von cyclo-Tetrakis-tetramethylen-terephthalat (5), ferner von cyclo-Tetrakis-äthylenterephthalat (7) und des Cycloesters 8 aus 2.2′-Dihydroxy-diäthyläther, Äthylenglykol und zwei Terephthalsäure-Molekülen werden beschrieben.
