X-Ray Crystallographic Characterization of the Reaction Product of Bis (S-aminodithionitrito)nickel(II) with Ammonia, Formaldehyde, and MethanolThe nickel(II) complex Ni(N2S2)2C4H9NO (3), which is formed during the reaction of Ni(HN2S2)2 (1) with ammonia and formaldehyde in methanol, crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c with a = 8.293, b = 14.917, c = 9.191 Å, β = 94.77° and Z = 4. The structure was solved by the symbolic addition procedure and was refined to R = 0.036. The two planar NiN2S2 rings intersect with a dihedral angle of 4.5°.

Der Nickel(II)-Komplex Ni(N2S2)2C4H9NO (3) entsteht bei der Reaktion von Ni(HN2S2)2 (1) mit Ammoniak und Formaldehyd in methanolischer Lösung. Er kristallisiert in der monoklinen Raumgruppe P21/c mit den Gitterkonstanten a = 8.293, b = 14.917, c = 9.191 Å, β = 94.77° und Z = 4. Seine Struktur wurde mittels der symbolischen Additionsmethode bestimmt und bis zu R = 0.036 verfeinert. Die beiden ebenen NiN2S2-Ringe bilden einen Flächenwinkel von 4.5°.
