The Crystal Structure of (Ethylenediamine)zinc(II) Benzohydroxamate Hydrate, ZnC23H29N5O7The crystal structure of (ethylenediamine)zinc(II) benzohydroxamate hydrate, ZnC23H29N5O7, has been determined by X-ray diffraction methods. The space group is P21c with four molecules in the unit cell. The lattice parameters are a = 15.83 Å, b = 17.16 Å, c = 9.55 Å, β = 92.6°. The zinc-ion, two benzohydroxamate-ions, and an ethylenediamine-molecule form a distorted octahedron. Besides the complex molecules the asymmetric unit of the crystal contains a water-molecule and a benzohydroxamic acid- molecule.

Die Kristallstruktur des (Äthylendiamin)zin(II)-benzohydroxamat-hydrats, ZnC23H29N5O7, wurde röntgenographisch bestimmt. Die Substanz kristallisiert mit vier Molekülen pro Elementarzelle in der Raumgruppe P21/c. Die Gitterkonstanten sind a = 15.83 Å, b = 17.16 Å, c = 9.55 Å, β = 92.6°. Es liegt ein verzerrter oktaedrischer Zink-Komplex vor mit zwei Benzohydroxamat-Ionen und einem Äthylendiamin-Molekül als Liganden. Zu einer Formeleinheit gehören außerdem jeweils ein Wasser- und ein Benzohydroxamsäure-Molekül.
