Verdazyls, 22. Synthesis and Reactions of Amino-Substituted VerdazylsThe synthesis of the nitro-substituted (7-13, 16) and amino-substituted verdazyls (14, 15,17) is reported. The aminoverdazyls can be acylated with acyl chlorides or converted into imines with aldehydes without effect on the unpaired electron. Bifunctional acyl chlorides or aldehydes yield bisverdazyls. the e.s.r. spectra of which are discussed.

Die Synthese der nitro-substituierten (7-13, 16) und amino-substituierten Verdazyle (14,15,17) wird beschrieben. Die Aminoverdazyle lassen sich unter Beibehaltung der Radikalnatur mit Säurechloriden acylieren und mit Aldehyden zu Aldiminen umsetzen. Bifunktionelle Säurechloride oder Aldehyde ergeben Bisverdazyle: deren ESR-Spektren werden diskutiert.
