Description / Table of Contents: Organometallic Lewis Bases, XXII1) Heterodinuclear Complexes of the Type (CO)5Cr—P(CH3)2—P(CH3)2—MThe organometallic Lewis base (CO)5Cr—P(CH3)2—P(CH3)2 (1) thermally or photochemically substitutes on CO group form metal carbonyls of the first transition series. Thereby the heterodinuclear complexes (CO)5Cr—P(CH3)2—P(CH3)2—M with M = C5H5(CO)2Mn,Br(CO)4Mn,(CO)4Fe, C5H5(CO)Co, NO(CO)2, and (CO)3Ni are formed. They are of varying thermal stability. Some of their decomposition reactions are recorded. Upon direct photochemical reactions with 1 the heterocycle (CO)4Cr{μP2(CH3)4}2 Cr(CO)4 is formed.
