Investigations on Diazo Compounds and Azides, XXIX: Oxygen Shift in Sulfonyl Azide Additions to (Ethyl- and Phenylthioethynyl)aminesThe (ethyl- and phenylthioethynyl)amines 5a-d add 4-nitrophenyl azide to form the 1,2,3-triazoles 6a-d. In contrast to this result the reaction of sulfonyl azides with the same alkynes leads to nitrogen evolution and oxygen shift with formation of S-ethyl (and phenyl) amidinothioformates 9a-h. The reaction mechanism is discussed.

Die (Ethyl- und Phenylthioethinyl)amine 5a-d addieren 4-Nitrophenylazid zu den 1,2,3-Triazolen 6a-d. Im Gegensatz dazu reagieren Sulfonylazide mit den gleichen Alkinen unter Stickstoffabspaltung und Sauerstoffverschiebung zu den Thiooxalamidin-S-ethyl(und phenyl)estern 9a-h. Der Reaktionsablauf wird diskutiert.
