Carbenes, 15: The Crystal and Molecular Structure of (E)-2-Methyl-4,5,6-triphenyl-1,3,4λ5-dioxaphosphorin-4-one, C22H19O3PThe title compound 4 crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1 with Z = 4 molecules in the unit cell. The six-membered heterocyclic ring takes a flattened half-chair conformation. The oxygen bound to phosphorus and the methyl group point to opposite sides of the ring, i.e. they are E-configurated.

Die Titelverbindung 4 kristallisiert in der triklinen Raumgruppe P1 mit Z = 4. Der heterocyclische Sechsring nimmt eine abgeflachte Halbsesselform ein. Das Sauerstoffatom am Phosphor und die Methylgruppe stehen auf verschiedenen Seiten des Rings, sind also E-konfiguriert.
