Notes: Polyspirocyclic Complexes of Palladium with Phosphorus YlidesBis(trimethylphosphine)palladium(II) chloride reacts with trimethyl(methylene)phosphorane, 1-methyl-1-methylene-λ5-phospholane and -phosphorinane to form polyspirocyclic dimers of the general formula {R2P(CH2)2Pd-μ,μ′-[R2P(CH2)2]2-Pd(CH2)2PR2}, R2 =(CH3)2, —[CH2]4— and —[CH2]5— (3-5). With (CH3)3 P=CH2 an ionic precursor {(CH3)2P(CH2)2Pd[CH2P-(CH3)3]2}⊕Cl⊖ (2) has been detected.
